Greeting,
Today the riot employees crush any hope of getting a global gold bonus for kills, which, I don't beleive would be a good thing anyway. Players are asking that Rumble not be nerfed in the next update but Morello confirms a nerf comming his way. A bunch of information about Nidalee and potential bugs will probably be addressed. What do you think about the 20 minutes minimum for the surrender timer? Should we be able to surrender earlyer? Well, RiotKiddington has a few words to say on that topic.
That is all for today. Quick links are bellow and full quotes are under them.

why? About 6 months ago (if I recall properly) there was matchup where nunu ulted and didn't touch the enemy killed..but he stopped their escape (the slow and huge nuke if you entire the ring) and the enemy jungler..same reason, from joining. So conceptually in a situation like that he did secure/gurantee/even kill the enemy who was slain...by removing situations which would save him, but in the game's eyes he did nothing, he wasted his ult rewarding him 0 gold (or whatever for the few minions he likely killed)
I think that a 'local' assist rule is justifiable as is our 'damage contributed, or buff given' assist system. We opted for the system we have because it's slightly more active, and tends to favor people who were in the fight, not just those around. It sometimes under-rewards, but the people getting underrewarded usually are getting other kills at the same time they are also not sharing with the whole team -- so it works out.
In the example you provide with Nunu, Nunu would miss out on the kill, but has decent probability of getting his own kill or assist on the jungler. On net, I think it works out, and produces more activity than a direct system.

There will be Rumble nerfs - we buffed him a LOT in the Jayce patch by fixing his flamethrower. Now, it does broken damage (since the skill was balanced when it was really buggy and never hit as much as it should have) but the skill actually hits
Basically, we need to boing the buffs back a bit, though Rumble will be stronger than before we buffed him in the first place. Xypherous did the fixes and may be able to explain in more detail.
tl:dr: We're nerfing him due to overbuffing in the last patch, but he'll still be good.

First off, a side comment: Don't invade other posts with off-topic stuff. You know who you are.
1. Making a character's ranged attack range 550 does not count as normalizing attack range. Some characters have weaker ranged attack range than others. That's just going to be a fact of life.
2. Making a character's melee attack range 125 makes a good deal of sense though.
3. I'm working on Prowl and tinkering with ghost grace periods. At this point, shifting to a scheme like Broken Wings seems to make more sense than cursor movement, given that the skill is more about going forward really fast, rather than fine precision.
4. Takedown doesn't bug with critical strike - critical Strike modifiers simply doesn't work with Takedown.
Yes, I know it displays as a critical strike currently but Takedown flatly ignores the damage modifier that you would get with critical strike and uses it's own calculation. This also means that Takedown can potentially do less damage than a crit simply because it can have less than an 100% damage modifier on it, based on the target's health. If you find it otherwise, I'd suggest you try to find a repro case because none of my tests seem to indicate that it's bugged as you describe.

but accordingly to him, it is 9 out 10 games. What kind of "AFK fest" will happen 9 out of 10 games? The surrender time limit is carefully selected after months of data analysis, I think one should really think the negative side effect of lowering surrender time limit to 10 or 15 min.

@Riot: Programming and game design
You don't need programming experience to be a designer.
You can also see which jobs we're currently recruiting for here: http://www.riotgames.com/careers/game-design
We're not actively seeking out entry level designers at the moment (it seems), but as always, if you can prove that you'd be an awesome designer, it's worth applying.
