Hi, DopkeOz83! I'm glad you've been enjoying the game so far!
As for being reported, it all depends on how often you're reported and what you're reported for. Everybody can have a bad game every now and then, and most people understand that! So if you have a game where you don't do so hot but you're actively trying to do your best, don't sweat it.
If, however, you actually do intentionally feed the other team on a regular basis, or do something else like harass other players regularly, that's a different story. Like Igetallthegirls says, you can receive a warning and then get a suspension if you don't clean up your act!
If you uphold the Summoner's Code, remain a good sportsman, and don't leave a lot of games, though, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
So get out there, have some fun, and make some friends! Good luck and happy gaming!
It isn't always 21-9. Most champions do benefit from having a 21-9 setup because it gives them either the defensive edge they need, or maybe the right utility, etc. But I don't always run 21-9 on every champ, and I don't think everybody out there does, either.
You should definitely try experimenting, and see what works for you. Meta is a constantly evolving thing, and who knows, you might be the first to figure out the next standard that a lot more people will use!
Hello and welcome, AppleGelAddict! I hope you're enjoying the game and making some friends!

I just got paired against 3 level 30s and 2 level 10s while I was duo queue-ing with a friend both level 10. I was on my lower leveled account just so my friend wouldn't have to face higher levels.
I was dead wrong. I mean, if this is how fair it's going to be while matchmaking, why not pair us with the pros while you're at it? Because this system is severely flawed. |
It depends a bit on your personality type I suppose, and how you learn. Early on while learning there can be less of a hard focus on team composition so sticking to one role or just a few champions can be a good way to learn the ropes, but in the long term you'll want to know at least a few roles so that you can be a good team player and fill in what your team needs in any given game.
When I was learning to play I focused on Ashe and Tristana, but once I had a handle on playing ranged ADs I learned how to jungle with Warwick and my path continued from there. It keeps the game fun and fresh when you can play many types of champions!

Hi there RyuLee,
Your friend should take this matter directly to Player Support. You can send them a request by filling out the form found here:

For your security please don't post any information about the account here on the forums, work directly with Support. If your friend has forgotten his or her email they will work with him to try to recover it if possible.

Hey everyone,
I've started a blog primarily geared toward League of Legends. Currently there are several mini-guides to help introduce newer players to some of the depth in League.
If anyone has any subjects they'd like to see covered or have any feedback on how to make the content or experience better for you, please let me know. I want it to be as interesting and helpful as possible for everyone.

Hello and welcome, Duku Dice! I hope you get to make some good friends and have a lot of fun!
At any rate, winning or even losing with friends is tons of fun and highly recommended.
If you play with someone on your team who seems easygoing or tells a good joke, why not try adding them to your buddy list in the after game stat screen? Building up a buddy list full of nice people gives you a great resource to make a premade team.
This thread is packed with some great advice!
To echo what others have touched upon already, the dedication to improving your own play goes a long way toward actually improving your own play.
I also think you are on the right track with trying as many champions as you can in each rotation. While getting the hang of items for so many champions can be confusing at first, I think over time you'll identify a few key items (favorites such as Deathcap, Infinity Edge, Philosopher's Stone, and others) that make a good basic toolkit to be familiar with when making your own first builds for new champions. Try our recommended builds or builds recommended by others on the internet to start with, see what you like about them, and then experiment on some variations to suit each game.
Good luck out there!
Hi, Vyronix! Man, but that sounds like a crazy game for you. The best thing to do with it, though, is to use it as a learning experience.
Something that's really important to note when you get invaded on blue like that is if their entire team is present for the invade or not.
Is it only some of them? If so, then you can make a serious attempt at defending. When following the meta, if you are the blue team, you'll have your solo top and mid right there able to defend with you. If you're purple, you have mid and the bot laners. Both leave you in a fairly decent position to defend.
Is it their whole team? If so, my suggestion is to immediately call that blue buff a loss. But don't despair! Because guess what? If their entire team is at your blue, what does that mean about the other one? Nobody will be there to defend it! As soon as you see all five invading your jungle, blow out of there, ping the enemy blue and have somebody from your team (preferably whoever will be closest to the buff minion after lane-wise) come with you. That way, you'll only be a little behind instead of crippled. Plus, their whole team will burn time getting back into position after the invade.
Of course, every game is different and calls for different actions and reactions on your part! This is just something that I suggest you think about as a jungler. Map awareness is big for everybody, but especially huge for the jungler, and thinking about the map as a whole from the very start of the game instead of just your side of the jungle can help a lot.
Hi, Hide And Go Seek, good question! When creating a custom game, the host has the option to set who can spectate a game and how. They can even set it so that nobody can. That way, if players want some privacy during a game, they don't have to worry about people dropping in to watch them.
Next time you make a custom game, check out the different settings! And as for not being able to spectate friends, try talking to them. It could be they wanted some privacy, or it could even be that the host of their game turned spectate off by accident.
Hope this clears things up for you. Good luck and happy gaming!
Hello and welcome, Clunkyturtle!
Building lesser items into better items is actually pretty beneficial! A lot of times, you can't afford that really awesome item for a while, because you have to work up the gold. But when that awesome item is composed of a lot of lesser items, that means you can buy it piece by piece, and get at least some of the benefits that will eventually come with that awesome item.
Like other people have said so far, you absolutely can buy the awesome item in one shot... if you have the gold for it! But I strongly suggest snagging each piece as you can afford it, so you aren't hurting for the boost items give you while building up enough gold.
How strange. Your cousin should try running a repair on their client. When you first launch League of Legends, click on the yellow gears button in the upper right instead of hitting Play. This will take you to the repair function. It can take a very long time, to warn you, but it often fixes weird problems like this.
If that doesn't work, have your cousin contact player support.

Thank you all so much! I seriously thought I'd be waiting like days for an answer! you guys are so nice!
![]() I think I'll try one right now, I'm just worried my team is going to be pissed at me and suck all the fun out. :/ |
What makes PvP fun compared to bots is that other players don't always behave predictably. You'll meet people that you'll crush, you'll meet people that seem to always be one step ahead of you, and you'll meet people that run strange and wacky strategies for better or worse.
It's the flavor that makes each PvP game so interesting! It may seem tough at first, but it's definitely worth the journey. Good luck!

Left click is for selecting and targeting things for the most part.
|
For example, you press R to Garen's ult and then left click on the target to use it. Right clicking cancels the spell instead if you decide against using it.
A good place to check out would be http://na.leagueoflegends.com/items - it lists all of the items, their recipes, costs, and stats, with a few filters. =)
